![]() 18+ Years Professional and Collegiate Coaching Experience Co-Owner of West End Baseball Academy, Jeff has 18 years of coaching and 13 years of personal instruction experience in all phases of the game. Jeff’s professional coaching experience includes the Atlanta Braves, Arizona Diamondbacks and Cincinnati Reds organizations. As Hitting Coach for the South Bend Silver Hawks (Arizona Diamondbacks Midwest League), Jeff led his team in least amount of strike outs and 2nd among overall highest batting average (.265). Prior to joining the Arizona Diamondbacks organization, Jeff was Hitting Coach for the Cincinnati Reds organization where he successfully coached the MVP of the Pioneer League. He has worked with a number of Major League players including Joey Votto (Cincinnati Reds), Jay Bruce (Cincinnati Reds), Chris Heisey (Cincinnati Reds), Justin Turner (Baltimore Orioles/NY Mets), Juan Francisco (Cincinnati Reds), Drew Stubs (Cincinnati Reds), Geraldo Parra (Arizona Diamondbacks). His collegiate experience includes Recruiting Coordinator/Hitting Coach for both Furman University and Presbyterian College and Assistant Coach/Infield Instructor for the University of Kentucky. Jeff has assisted at numerous camps and clinics ranging from Ken Griffey’s camp at Wide World of Sports to the University of South Carolina and Clemson camps.
Currently, Jeff is Manager of the 2011 Big League D7 team (2008 World Champions) and Assistant Coach at Greenville High School. Jeff chose to make Greenville, SC home where when he is not coaching, enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
